hi everyone! as you know, we recently released the senior advice video and are still promoting  it but would love to hear your feedback! an overview: - featured 8 seniors with a variety of paths (naval school to community college to different majors)     - it was difficult to find people doing some of the less "traditional" paths - filmed at kevin moran     - scheduled with google sheets - we vetted their responses beforehand by asking them to send over messages - released on may 21st!     - instagram story spam     - email from lee - asked the following questions:  What are your after high school plans? Why did you choose to go down your path (college, gap year, etc.)? When did you realize what you wanted to do? How? How did you choose what college to apply to and your major? What was your essay writing process like? What did you focus on content-wise (anecdotes, high school experience, etc.)? If you could do high school again, what would you do differently? Business Spotlight

hi asb!! clink did our small business spotlight this past year! this included two Instagram posts that both featured two businesses. some more details: -  business spotlight originally began as an online marketplace idea where we were hoping to connect Lynbrook students to businesses of other students in a marketplace of some sort. we weren't able to do that because of school rules, so we decided that because we still wanted to do something for/with small businesses, we'd turn it into an appreciation and recognition based project.  - a form was sent out in the beginning of the year (emailed and PR video) for businesses to sign up to be featured. several did and we posted them! - businesses that had Instagrams were tagged and the post were ran by them before we posted! feel free to let us know any thoughts and suggestions you have!  <3 clink

pr video(s)

what's up asb!! PR definitely has not forgotten to outro the last couple pr videos or decided to combine the last couple pr videos into one project, so feel free to give some feedback on what you've seen from the last [few] pr videos! what went well: - choosing better locations(trying to stay away from the parks that we normally film at like rainbow or kevin morant) - trying to incorporate better script and visual transitions throughout the video - being stricter on how much time each commission got -> led to more efficient filming - sending out consistent reminders to commissions who signed up -> made sure that we could check scripts and that the commissions had plenty of time to review and memorize their own script, made sure that people came to filming on time as well - having more meetings with tech to improve the vision for each video, better communication also made editing and filming go smoother  - may pr video LOL pranav had a lot of great ideas for more unique s

Thank you to all of you and your friends who participated and/or watched the video! If this is what a virtual Lip Dub looks like now, We can't wait for an inperson one in the future! Some things that went well: - many people enjoyed it!! - 700+ views & 30+ likes in less than 24 hours - many participating groups, staff and students enjoyed the process of making their zoom clip and coming up with ideas - able to show some of the new campus + released a final video after 4 years Some things that didn't go so well: - YouTube processing delay =  1 day push back 5/7->5/8 - late submissions/missing submissions from signups = 1 week push back 4/30->5/7 - mask restriction caused a HUGE plan shift very late into the process - team structure shift + disorganized at the beginning  What we learned: - have more sign ups than what you use + make sure they u
